This was done in three hours??? Amazing!!! It's short but clever and lots of fun!
Also, if anyone feels that the camera is too low, just enter fullscreen mode instead of using windowed mode. This makes the camera much better. I'm guessing it's a quirk with the web player's scaling or something.
Thanks for playing it! And you're right, it's the embedded window of the web version even though I have checked the "force fullscreen" option.
So, problem is fixed now, played it for a bit, like the concept, but I've got some initial comments:
My biggest issue is the 'low on the screen' thing, because you quite literally cannot see what you're doing or have to do. I constantly found myself focusing on the bottom of the screen to get a glimpse of what's there.
Thanks for the feedback swoopie! I agree that the mechanic is cumbersome, I wanted to tune the level design to make it flow a bit smoother. This was a part of the 3 hour Trijam, so I really didn't get to spend a lot of time on it. The bugs you mentioned seem to be a WebGL issue, they're all resolved in the Windows build. I really appreciate you taking some time out to play and give feedback for this game. Thanks!
Hah, well, given you only had 3 hours it's quite a good effort :-)
This game seems quite literally one big space/time bug, because after I start the game I start falling down directly, losing all scenery and getting caught in a "it's time to grow" loop. Did I miss something or is this build buggy?
Hi there! We just uploaded this and realised that the build isnt working so we're making a fix for it. The colliders for the level just decided to stop working haha, sorry about that.
Haha, ok, good to hear I'm not crazy ;-) Looking forward to trying it!
I had published the game at that time by mistake haha...
It's now functioning properly, thanks for pointing that out!
Works now indeed, I'll post some comments shortly.
